Weekend at the Sunshine Coast

After a crazy Friday of cleaning, we finally handed in the keys at around 4pm and became officially homeless.  (Homeless and unemployed, oh dear.)  Many thanks to Jess and Luc for putting us up on Friday night!


Saturday morning we were up at 5am for our 7:30am flight to the Sunshine Coast, to visit my family.  


Saturday on the Sunshine Coast was a gorgeous day - sunny and warm, t-shirt and shorts weather - surprising after coming from Sydney.  There was an impromptu footy match in Dad's backyard - check out the awesome goals!  Apparently the kids next door are good friends with my little brother and sister, so they kick the ball over and back and both sides can use the goals for kicking practice.  

Sunday saw a big family lunch at the Beerwah Tavern to celebrate Father's Day plus our leaving.  It was great to catch up with everyone and see some sun before the move to the Great White North.
